Normal skin:

Normal skin feels soft, smooth, clean, well balanced, and naturally glowing. It’s not too oily or too dry. Normal skin experienced very few or a few breakouts. Dry skin feels tight, itchy, flaky, and rough. It can be changed due to factors like climate change, hormonal changes, diet or not drinking enough water, medication, hot shower. People with dry skin type does not produce enough oil and can’t hold moisture well. This skin type people feel dryness in some hours even after applying moisturizer. A person with dry skin type gets easily irritated by external factors. A person with dry skin should avoid washing the face too many times in a day. Oily skin:

A person with oily skin feels oily shine on the face or they notice excess oil on the face and neck. Within one or two hours of washing the face, a person will feel oiliness. Especially during midday. Oily skin people will feel greasiness or moisture on the face. Oily skin tends to experience whiteheads, blackheads, acne, and clogged pores. A person with oily skin is easily prone to breakouts and acne. The only reason behind this is the high production of oil than the normal skin. Oily skin gets quickly shine or grease on the face which attracts germs very easily and that eventually clog pores and cause acne or breakout. A person with oily skin should stick to oil-free products to control oil on the face. Combination skin:

In simple terms, combination skin is the mixture of above all three types of skin. A person with combination skin has oily T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) but has dry or normal skin on cheeks and jawline. It’s tricky to balance out combination skin. Combination skin is the most common of all skin types. A common mistake with the combination skin is over-cleansing or over washing the face. A person with a combination skin has large pores, blackheads, and shine or oil on T-zone. A person with a combination skin must wash face twice daily and must apply a light moisturizer on cheeks and jawline. A person can apply oil-free moisturizers on T-zone to control or balance the oil on the face. A combination skin type must choose products that are specially curated for combination skin. Daily exfoliation is a must to remove blackheads and dead skin to balance the skin. Choosing makeup for girl for this skin type is a bit tricky. A person should choose makeup according to skin concerns of a specific area.

Sensitive skin:

It’s very difficult to manage sensitive skin. Sensitive skin type takes time and effort to identify which ingredients cause irritations, inflammation, allergies, and skin reactions. To minimize possible reactions; 24 hours patch testing of new a product is a good way. Don’t try so many products at one time, instead using a few or one product is a good idea to avoid allergies on the face. This rule is applicable for both skincare and makeup products. If your skin does not show any kind of allergies or reactions(redness, burning, itching, dryness) than apply the product on the back of the ears before applying the product on the face. Sensitive skin reacts more to external factors like weather, dry climate, heat, UV light, stress, pollution, etc. If sensitive skin is not balanced it feels tight, dry, itchy, and develops redness. Therefore, sensitive skin requires special care to balance our skin and its condition. For this stick to one brand which identifies formulas like hypoallergenic, non-irritating, free from parabens, fragrance, mineral oil, and sulfate. People with this skin type should always buy those makeup for girls which is labeled as hypoallergenic and free from harmful chemicals. A person can buy those makeup for girl/ self which is specially designed for sensitive skin only.
